the Retreat at Church Creek
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
FIND REST HERE
The Retreat at Church Creek is a refuge for pastors who just need a break or are struggling with isolation, loneliness and burnout.
Providing sanctuary on 66 beautiful waterfront acres in peaceful Lowcountry surroundings, just minutes from Charleston, South Carolina, our four-day retreat offers ample opportunity to relax, recharge and reconnect with small groups of like-minded ministry leaders.
In our experience, rest and rejuvenation go hand and hand.
The Retreat at Church Creek offers plenty of ways to unplug and play. Whether it’s:
Chasing redfish and trout in saltwater creeks
Fishing for large mouth bass on one of our 14 acre fresh-water ponds
Taking a leisurely boat ride on the intracoastal waterway at sunset
Walking or riding electric bikes on three miles of nature trails
Playing corn hole, ping pong, or trap shooting with new friends
Working out in a fully equipped gym or playing 18 holes of golf on a simulator
Or just sitting by the marsh watching the tide come in and go back out again
Choose your own adventure with days that are yours to spend in whatever way restores and renews you.
At night we will gather around the table or eat a meal on the dock and share experiences, stories and life with fellow travelers.
Entirely yours to make your own, our hope for each retreat guest is that they leave us lighter - taking home new friendships, fresh resources and lifelong support.
The best part: it’s free.

“When I was invited to the retreat at Church Creek, I was at a point of feeling like I should throw in the towel. God used those days of rest, reflection and relationship to give me a new vision for our church.”
